Unlike many popular brands, Milk & Moon proudly use only 100% soy wax from soy beans.
When it comes to candles, there are a few things that you should know about the ingredients. First and foremost, our candles are made from 100% soy wax. This means that they are free of paraffin wax, which can be harmful to your health.
Additionally, our candles have cotton wicks and no lead wicks. Lead wicks are illegal in Australia and can pose a serious health risk. Finally, our fragrances are all Australian-made and contain absolutely no phthalates or parabens. We use only the highest quality ingredients in our candles to ensure your safety and satisfaction.

OUR FRAGRANCES

There are two main types of candle fragrances: essential oils and man-made synthetic oils. Essential oils are made from natural ingredients and are therefore more expensive. However, they are also more unstable, are more combustible and do not blend well with wax. This means that they may not give you a good scent throw. Synthetic oils, on the other hand, are more stable and easier to work with. They also tend to provide a stronger scent throw. As a result, our candles use a combination of both essential and synthetic oils.

OUR WAX

Our candles are made from 100% soy wax. Soy wax is a type of wax made from soybeans. It is a renewable, biodegradable, and non-toxic product that can be used in a variety of applications. Soy wax has a lower melting point than paraffin wax, making it ideal for use in candles and other products that require a cooler burning temperature. Soy wax also burns longer than paraffin wax, making it a more efficient choice for use in candles and other products where burn time is important. There are many benefits to using soy wax over other types of waxes. Soy wax is environmentally friendly and does not release harmful chemicals into the air when burned. Soy wax is also non-toxic and safe for use around children and pets.

HOW TO LOOK AFTER YOUR CANDLES
We recommend a minimum burn time of 2 hours to reach a full melt pool. This will ensure your candle doesn't "tunnel" as soy candles have a memory and will continue to not reach the edge if they have previously been extinguished before the edges have melted. We strongly recommend that both wicks are lit during every burn.

When not in use, please store with the lid on out of direct sunlight to avoid fading of colour.

Even though our candles smell delicious, please do not eat. Keep away from children and pets.
